Beyond this digital space, I occupy stolen land that was taken from the Snuneymuxw First Nation of the Coast Salish People who lived and continue to live here.

This land has never and will never belong to me; what I own is my words and actions.

As a descendant of white settlers, I will continue to educate myself so that I may properly honour the land and its inhabitants, keeping in mind the many diverse perspectives within Indigenous communities.
